Your hard drive is the single most important component in your computer when it comes to vital data. It stores all of your contacts, clients, financial data and any other information you need to keep your business running smoothly. If you ever lose your hard drive to a corruption or a virus then your business would be doomed. That is, of course, if you havent mirrored it or backed it up prior to such a disaster.

Protecting your Hard Drive
Backing up hard drive information onto another server is the best way to insure your data is protected. Hard drive mirroring, as it is known, can be accomplished using special software and an outside network server to store data independently from your main hub. The software monitors hard drive activity and updates itself as you make changes of your own.

Hard drive mirroring can also be used to bounce vital files onto another network so people have multiple download options. This is important if your files are needed by many people and your own network cant support the bandwidth demands. Mirroring your hard drive or just a select few files from it greatly reduces your overall costs.

Synchronization settings can be altered as necessary within the software. You can easily adjust the timing of your syncs to limit the bandwidth demands. It is also possible to set it to only sync when a manual command is given. This will reduce memory demands throughout the network.
